Football season is coming to an end and it can be a scary time for those who have carved a pretty good grove in the couch but don’t worry there is still plenty of good things on the gogglebox for you to watch. There are loads of really great TV show and films coming to Now TV this June and here are a few of the ones we will be watching.

Twin Peaks

Finally the we will see the return of Twin Peaks as it kicks off again this June. The first four episodes of David Lynch’s iconic film made into a series are available for your to watch right now on Now TV.

Isle of Wight Festival 2017

Arcade Fire, Run DMC, Catfish and the Bottlemen,, Rag N Bone Man, David Guetta, Texas, The Kooks, The Vamps and Rod Stewart are all on the bill for this years Isle of Wight Festival. That great news if you have a ticket but its even better news to hear that it will be live on NOW TV on June the 9th. Stock the fridge, set the tent up out the back garden and set a make shift toilet up in the living room and essentially you are there.

War Dogs

War Dogs is the story of David Packous and 20 something year old with no direction in his life. That is until he meets his new best friend Efraim Diveroli who he sets up an arms dealing company with. Starring Jonah Hill and Miles Teller this true story has some brilliantly funny and terrifying moments. A Must see.

The Purge: The Election Year

We love The Purge films and this one will hopefully be no exception. This time its presidential year and the running anti-purge candidate Charlie Roan played by Elizabeth Mitchell and she is in the running to win it. Roan wants to see an end to the purge but the NFFA (New Founding Fathers of America) have other ideas.

Jack Reacher: Never Go Back

Tom Cruise is back as Lee Child’s vigilante. The story continues dragging Jack into a military conspiracy. Non stop action from begging to end. We want to see more.

The Leftovers

The Leftovers is based on a best selling novel by Tom Perrotta. This drama takes place in the small town of Mapleton in New York. Three years earlier 140 million people disappeared without a trace and as the rest of the world that got left behind try to continue with their lives in a world that will never be the same again, conflicts escalate. Starring Liv Tyler, Christopher Eccleston and Justin Theroux this mysterious drama from the co-creators of Lost will be on Now TV. Season 1 and 2 will be there in boxset format for those days when getting up off the couch just isn’t an option.

The Wizard of Lies

Staring Robert De Niro and Michelle Pfeiffer this is our top pick for June without a shadow of a doubt. This feature length drama from HBO looks at the man behind on of the largest cases of financial fraud in the history of the US. Bernie Madoof is a stockbroker, investment advisor, financier and the originator of the 2008 Ponzi scheme. The Ponzi scheme would leave financial ruin through the country and ultimately lead to his own destruction. Pfeiffer plays Ruth Madoff in what is shaping up to be a great bit of TV.
