The people who are kindly watching TV so you don’t have to are two school friends, Emma and Charlotte.

Emma and Charlotte bonded over their love of Top Gear and Richard Hammond after his accident brought him to “Diana status” in their eyes. Since then they have shared a passion for all things Doctor Who and Emma has tried to bully Charlotte into watching Strictly Come Dancing. It hasn’t worked.

Between them they watch a considerable amount of TV and so decided to share their informed opinions with the world.

Emma

She loves all kinds of genres, except for depressing soaps. Her specialist subjects are comedy panel shows and kids’ TV, especially if it contains animals wearing clothes or Tracy Beaker.

She has just finished studying music at Birmingham Conservatoire and is preparing for her new job as a primary school teacher by writing lesson plans and watching daytime TV.

Charlotte

She will happily watch any programme in front of her, with a particular interest in shows that are terrible.

She has just graduated from a journalism degree and is quite the news junkie.
